Into the Woods – movie synopsis
Disney's Into the Woods follows a childless baker and his wife who set off to procure magical items from four classic fairy tales in an attempt to reverse a witch's curse
Once upon a time in a far-off kingdom when the baker (James Corden) was just a child, his father (Simon Russell Beale) was caught stealing magic beans from the vegetable garden of a witch (Meryl Streep).
As punishment for losing the precious beans, the witch was placed under a curse which made her hideous in appearance. The witch, in turn, cast an evil spell on the baker’s household, cruelly ensuring that he and his wife would be incapable of having a child.
Years later, when the baker and his wife (Emily Blunt) learn of the curse, they venture into the woods to seek out the ingredients which will both reverse the spell and restore the witch’s beauty.
By the time the blue moon rises in three days’ time, something which only occurs once every 100 years, they must return with four items: a cow as white as milk, hair as yellow as corn, a cape as red as blood and a slipper as pure as gold.
On their journey into the woods, they encounter: Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) fleeing the palace in a pair of gold slippers; Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford) on her way to her granny’s house while being pursued by the wolf (Johnny Depp); the fair maiden Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy), held captive by the witch in a tower with no doors; and young Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) en route to the market to sell his cherished cow, Milky White, to appease his exasperated mother (Tracey Ullman). Each is on their own quest to fulfill a wish.
The third midnight approaches, and the baker and his wife, having produced the required ingredients through a combination of theft, bribery and deceit, deliver them to the witch.
Soon the witch’s curse is lifted, rendering her beautiful once more. The baker and his wife magically give birth to the child they so longed for.
Cinderella breaks free from her evil stepmother (Christine Baranski) and stepsisters and marries her prince (Critics’ Choice Award nominee Chris Pine).
Rapunzel is freed from exile, and the giant beanstalk which sprouted from the magic beans Jack received in exchanged for his cow, has led to riches beyond his mother’s wildest dreams.
However, just at the moment when everything is looking rosy, a terrifying, vengeful lady giant (Frances de la Tour) climbs down from the beanstalk, and begins to wreak havoc.
Forced to face the consequences of their desires, the group of characters who have befriended one another in the woods, must work together if they are to defeat this giant and live happily ever after.
Time is running out, everybody.
I think I'm drowning
Asphyxiated
I wanna break this spell
That you've created
You're something beautiful
A contradiction
I wanna play the game
I want the friction
You will be the death of me
You will be the death of me
Bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it
Our time is running out
Our time is running out
You can't push it underground
You can't stop it screaming out
I wanted freedom
Bound and restricted
I tried to give you up
But I'm addicted
Now that you know I'm trapped sense of elation
You'd never dream of
Breaking this fixation
You will squeeze the life out of me
Bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it
Our time is running out
Our time is running out
You can't push it underground
You can't stop it screaming out
How did it come to this?
Oh
You will suck the life out of me
Bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

Bestseller novel.
One Day is a novel by David Nicholls, published in 2009. Each chapter covers the lives of two protagonists on 15 July, St. Swithin's Day, for twenty years. The novel attracted generally positive reviews, and was named 2010 Galaxy Book of the Year. Nicholls adapted his book into a screenplay; the feature film, also titled One Day, was released in August 2011. Writing in The Times, John O'Connell writes, "For, in spite of its comic gloss, One Day is really about loneliness and the casual savagery of fate; the tragic gap between youthful aspiration and the compromises that we end up tolerating. Not for nothing has Nicholls said that it was inspired by Thomas Hardy." A critic in thelondonpaper observes that One Day "may be a love story, but it’s no fairytale: Nicholls doesn’t shy from the harsh side of growing up, the disillusionment, regrets, and random cruelty of life." According to Jonathan Coe (Guardian Books of the Year 2009), "It's rare to find a novel which ranges over the recent past with such authority, and even rarer to find one in which the two leading characters are drawn with such solidity, such painful fidelity, to real life."
ARCTIC MONKEYS
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2003 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner as the lead vocals, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, Jamie Cook as the lead guitar and rhythm guitar player, Nick O'Malley plays the bass and backing vocals, and Matt Helders plays the drums, also backing vocals. Former band member Andy Nicholson who incharge in bass guitar and backing vocals left the band in 2006 shortly after its debut album was released.
They have released five studio albums that are Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not in 2006 , Favourite Worst Nightmare in 2007 , Humbug in 2009. Their debut album is the fastest-selling debut album by a band in British chart history, and in 2013, Rolling Stone ranked it the 30th greatest debut album of all time.
The band have won seven Brit Award by winning both Best British Group and Best British Album three times, and have been nominated for three Grammy Awards. They also won the Mercury Prize in 2006 for their debut album, in addition to receiving nominations in 2007 and 2013. The band have headlined at the Glastonbury Festival twice, in 2007 and again in 2013.
Arctic Monkeys were heralded as one of the first bands to come to public attention via the internet through fan-based sites rather than from the band, with commentators suggesting they represented the possibility of a change in the way in which new bands are promoted and marketed.
Arctic Monkeys is one of my favourites band among all British bands that influenced in youth world. I have been interested in Arctic Monkeys since I was in Standard 6. Their vocalist Alex Turner still being my idol and dream man. I loved mostly all their songs but the most influencing and addicting are "Why'd You Only Called Me When You're High?", "Do I Wanna Know?'" and also "R U Mine?".
Their symphonies and beats keep repeating in my mind once I played them and I was too long with them and I think they are the best band with ups and downs that still strong in music industry. So why don't you take a listen for each of their song they had so you can feel the music strength in them that linked through me in yourself. Feel it!
